Your Magnolia Painting representative will even apply large areas of sample paint to help you visualize how it will look!
As your start date approaches, we ask that you cut back any trees or bushes of concern, pick up any knickknacks off the patios, and clean up any obstacles in the workspace. The painters are happy to move the bulkier items such as grills and patio furniture so you don’t have to do any heavy lifting.
The painting will begin with a thorough walkthrough with the painters and your Magnolia Painting representative. It is important to set aside some time to accompany the team and assure that everyone is on the same page.
When painting a full house, the first item for the painters to address will be cleaning the surfaces being painted. On most occasions, the cleaning is done by power washing, however some substrates may call for hand cleaning. In cases where mildew is present, we will use an environmentally friendly solution to address those areas.
After allowing your home to dry overnight, the painters return the following morning to proceed with scraping any peeling surfaces, repairing or replacing wood as prescribed, caulking wood joints and windows, and masking the home and necessary surroundings.
Once we have put our best foot forward with preparing your home, we will apply paint via spray application for most areas. Doors, down spouts, and hard to reach places will be painted by brush. When we reach the finish line, we will do a thorough inspection with you, clean up, and return items to their original spots.
